New chapter. Familiar faces.

In 2010, Jake Engle was named manager of the Jake Racing Team. The talented, young driver will now handle all executive decisions, including budgeting, sponsorships, and scheduling. The change represents a new chapter for the team, with some very familiar faces.

Fred Hernandez remains as Crew Chief. With decades of experience, he continues to prepare Engle’s racecar with the help of WTG Racing and owner Linny White, while providing invaluable advice to the young driver. On the east coast, Billy Hess of Mooresville, North Carolina, generously provides the ride. And Rick McCray and Sandy McCray continue to offer Engle unwavering support trackside.

Now, as Engle looks to fulfill his dream of racing at the top levels of NASCAR, this supporting cast of professionals will be his launching pad to success.
